Next, you should place three bags or boxes in each room that you plan on cleaning. The first bag is only for trash or items that are broken. In the second box, you will place objects that you plan on donating. The final bag is only for items that can be recycled like glass, plastic, and paper.

The process of cleaning a hoarders home can be incredibly difficult. The emotions may often seem overwhelming and you will feel like your task will never be completed. Take regular breaks to make it less draining. Remember that slow and steady always wins the race. You should also make sure you are giving each area you declutter a good clean so that you do not have to go back and clean again.

As soon as you notice that your bags or boxes have been filled you will need to take them to a second-hand store in your community. This is crucial as it will help you see everything you have already done. It will also help to free up space in the areas you have cleaned.

Although it is difficult to clear up the home of a hoarder it is something that needs to be done. Just make sure that you are returning for maintenance on a regular basis to make sure that it does not ever return to its previous state.
